Privacy Statement

In order to arrange a housecall, we request some personal information from our patients. We will collect some basic information such as name, address and phone number to help the doctor contact you and get to your home. Your Ontario Health Card number is documented in order to allow the doctor to bill OHIP for services rendered.

Toronto Houscalls uses a dispatch technology that adheres to strict privacy policies. We use a system that encrypts all information being transmitted to our doctors. Our information is stored in a top of the line facility where it is encrypted and secured to the highest industry standards. We never share your information with anyone outside of Toronto Housecalls and its associated physicians and staff.

 

Your peronal information is safeguarded against unauthorized access. There may be certain exceptions where we may be required by law to disclose your personal information. Such disclosure may be required in an emergency situation where someone's health or life is endangered. You can decide how much of your personal information you give to us, however, this may affect our ability to provide you with proper service. For example, if you do not have a valild Ontario Health Card number, you may be requested to pay the doctor at the time of the visit.

 

Note: Your request for a medical housecall is accepted as implied consent to utilize your information for the specific purpose of making a medical housecall.
